If I was a robot

If I was a robot

A Poem by Liz Alexander

I am wishing constantly
That he is the one
I am speaking too
Moments like these
I wish
I was a robot
Without anykind  of emotion
Robots can't fear or couldn't crush on someone
Robots have no emotions
They don't have worries...
My emotions wouldn't bite me
In the butt
When the opposite sex Is involved
Different people have told me
That I am open book
If I was a robot
The book would not be open
To everyone
My heart wouldn't beat with wishes
Of him talking to me
If I was a robot
I could stop being stubborn
And speak with the silent
If I was a robot

Finished: 9-4-12
Inspired by: silent man

Robots always need direction. Good and bad parts to be a robot. Nice thoughts on a interesting topic. I prefer a zombie. Have no needs or desires except brains. Thank you for the excellent poetry.
