BORROWED TIME

BORROWED TIME

A Poem by iamcarolfierce

As we walked together,
hand in hand
Wishing that you really are
someone I can call "mine"
Breaking away from what we have,
Taking every chances on our borrowed time

Talking and dreaming of places we wanna go,
Crossing the line, doing things
we wish nobody will know
And though this is a mistake,
Letting you inside is a risk I would gladly take

Each day I had with you is full of happiness,
thrill, guilt and loneliness
All of those always woke up my senses
All of those, I know I have nothing to regret

But when the time comes and you have to go back to her
I would hold your hands like how you have held mine,
whisper you nothing but only the words you wanna hear
I have loved you now and will forget you never

About
I used to have a great passion in writing before. Composed poems and songs, had written essays and stories. However, time made me a real bum. Vices and peers came and I forgot about writing. But no.. more..
