if we ever have that moment

in between life and what could be

if we ever steal some air

and your eyes meet mine

if we can touch our finger tips

and breathe in reality

if time backs away

and schedules sit at bay

would we smile?

would we kiss?

would we make up all the time

we have felt we missed?

would it all make sense

could i take a breath?

if we saw eye to eye

my scent to take a sniff

life would cease?

time would perish

reality perched

a chance to cherish?

would we make a pact

to be one and true

or would space and tact

take over me and you?

i want to know

please tell me true

would we have a chance

just me and you?
