A Poem by Jacques - iNkwire
"

A little poem about enjoying someone's light and not being dissuaded by certain things.

"
It's good your hands aren't mittens
for I'd always want to be cold
and I'm glad they're not roses
because I'd still want to hold them

Thorns and shivers are no big deal
when you spot a walking gem
Only problem is wondering if you're real
'cause in every crowd you stand out from them

I love the sound of your smile
I can hear it in your voice
Seeing you makes me wonder how
anyone could make any other choice

I wonder if you're an angler
as there's a light wherever you go
I'm drawn in like a fish
with nowhere else I'd want to go

Vision of you is soothing
like sunbeams on a pond
I can't imagine anyone feeling
for you any less than fondly

About
Hi. Most of my work is poetry, but I intend to put some stories out in the future. I write about what makes me feel strongly. This approach mostly results in romantic pieces, but I hope to branch o.. more..
