Perpendicular

Perpendicular

A Poem by Jacques - iNkwire
"

I wrote this about a romantic interest I can't be with and attempt to find some comfort in thinking there's a very, very, distant universe where I can spend time with this person.

"
Theres some kind of world out there
where you and I are together
it's not this one and not parallel
so maybe its Perpendicular
I won't say I don't accept it
or that I wish things differed
All I'll say is there's a me out there
that stays warm with you in winter
I want happiness for us both
even if - it's sep'rate
I'd very much like your company,
but I'm not desperate
I often thought you an angel
and I don't know if that's changed
though my want for what benefits you
remains the same
Perhaps we can chat a little
or crack little jokes,
but if another makes you happy
I'm not going to choke

About
Hi. Most of my work is poetry, but I intend to put some stories out in the future. I write about what makes me feel strongly. This approach mostly results in romantic pieces, but I hope to branch o.. more..
