More sappy poetry, was a little hard to pick a direction on this one.

If I were a wizard
perhaps I wouldn't have to wish
for more time and space
and wouldn't need to fish
For an opportunity with you
no matter how brief
among my concerns
talking to you is my chief
interest often times
and I know how silly it sounds
and how silly I look,
being distracted when you're around
I know all is new
and I don't want to jump the gun
I sense just as you are sweet
You might also be fun
I liken you to dessert
like a cupcake or a muffin
If I was honest I would say
it is not enough when
I currently can't talk to you
as often as I desire
Even when I'm close to you,
its difficult with my cheeks on fire
And how I hope that will change
who knows how relieving
it would be to sigh and pray
to gods I don't believe in
