Bad NewsA Poem by Jacques - iNkwireJust a poem in which I frame my realization that I feel more deeply than I thought as if a doctor related a grim prognosis.
I have bad news for you
I'm sorry to say I don't know what to do, but I feel a certain way You didn't do anything wrong, but now I have love It sure didn't take long and I don't think I'm done I know it's awful to hear, but I'd rush to your side Don't mean to fill you with fear, but you'd be anyone's pride Don't want to rain on your parade, but you radiate light and brighten people's days Maybe it isn't right that hearts go missing whenever you're around Gravity just stops working and people can't stay aground Butterflies start to fly and birds start to sing In just five minutes you turn the Winter into Spring I'm sure you don't intend to break the laws of nature And I don't think you planned to be the muse of every painter Don't think you meant to put me on your list of admirers think I'll stay on the mailing list for now instead of being an unsubscriber © 2024 Jacques - iNkwireAuthor's Note
