Cats and Dogs

She has a cat. I wanted to write a romantic poem focusing a little more on domestic matters.

Would our pets get along?
I'm supposed to be allergic,
but I don't care
and I don't really notice
Perhaps I'm skipping steps
and I could be overeager
Like how I'd volunteer to support
and you can be the leader
There is work to be done,
but I won't protest leisure
and I think chores with you'd be fun
I'm okay with either
Would we argue about things?
Eventually, I'm sure
I can imagine you glaring at me
and how it's a look I'd adore
We've not traded many words,
but I've many to give
words like "dear" and "angel"
as well as "together" and "live"
