Other Angels

Just a little poem to remind myself that there are other lovely people around.

There are other angels
on what we say is Earth
I've met some before
and none is better or worse
One taught me how
beautiful the air is
The other is a dog
with whom I live
This recent angel blinds me
with the light she gives off
Her glow is one many see
and I'm not the only one in want
How greedy would it be
to want her for myself?
No plant owns the sun
they all share that help
I guess what I mean
is I'd be grateful
to have more of her beams
Even if not just for me
