To Share

Wrote this at a cafe I love. Always feels nice to be there, but felt bad not having someone to share it with.

I'd like to bring someone here
where there's music and sun
where we could sit and chat
and sitting still would be fun
Is there someone out there
who wouldn't find this boring?
One who thinks conversation
and atmosphere superior to scoring?
There's a peace here
that I want to share
Just the thought of it
loads up a tear
Ready to burst from my eyes
Powder in my chest
ignited by my fears
but there's no silencer for my cries
It's okay that I'm alone
but I'm a bit tired of it
If I can't share these things,
why bother acquiring them?
