Pond(er)

My attempt to portray how relaxed a certain someone makes me feel. The image was generated by an AI called "MidJourney" and did a pretty good job of illustrating how I felt.

Like seeing the sun dance on water
or warm days punctuated by a breeze
Speaking with you for a minute
brings my mind so much peace

Whether it's the cadence of your voice,
or the sky in your eyes
or how your smiles are contagious
and bring my lip corners high

But the high is not like a drug's
instead it's standing atop a mountain
or spending a day in a desert
then finding a marble fountain

You're a breath of fresh air
with a subtle sweet scent
What was strange about meeting you
is what I think it meant:

Though not all of it is fond,
our world is beautiful
and while there are many deserts,
there are also many Ponds
