rocks

A poem about long-term longing

It's like i have rocks under my skin

that cut me from the inside

They itch and I scratch

I bleed everywhere, but don't die

It's pure agony to get a cliffhanger

without the promise of death

My heart shatters a million times

and for some reason I still draw breath

I wish I had a blade

to cut all of this out

It's been so long that I've been in pain

Solution's still not figured out
