I want to open up my heart
and let you come inside
But you're so dangerous
and make me terrified

You've got these wide eyes
and an even wider grin
Those things slow time
and make the lights look dim

I want to run,
yet I can't stay away
Even just talking is fun
and makes an okay day great

Right next to you
is where I want to be
Usefulness is my excuse
to have you look for me

Energy radiates from you
and I find it contagious
It makes me want to go and do
things that are outrageous

When I'm with you,
I don't want to leave
I want to stay put,
look at you, and just be

I want to hear your voice
and want to share your time
I want to be your choice
and I want to call you mine
