Mushy Gushy

Mushy Gushy

A Poem by Jacques - iNkwire
"

I had to write more mush. The crossover of ideas will probably be published as a separate poem.

"
You're an intriguing one
When you leave a room,
I squint like I saw the sun
and it becomes afternoon

You reach Curie temperatures,
but still draw me in
When you're near everyone's sure
as they hear all you're saying

But that's just fine
because all of your sounds
are just like wine
and enjoyed all around

I didn't like wine,
but I've acquired a taste
So each little sip leaves
a big fat grin on my face

Speaking of grins,
while yours is lovely,
you're even more beautiful
when your smile's still coming

If I give your hands a glance,
my mind will go empty
I'd like more than one chance
to bring them with me

About
Hi. Most of my work is poetry, but I intend to put some stories out in the future. I write about what makes me feel strongly. This approach mostly results in romantic pieces, but I hope to branch o.. more..
