Admit One

Admit One

A Poem by Jacques - iNkwire
"

Another result of me falling for someone.

"
What others say is void
As I'm sure I struck gold
Even though at this point,
Your personality's not quite known

Your eyes paralyze mine
And your voice charms my ears
Like my body's trapped by a vine
As I can't move from here

I want to scream
At the top of my lungs
And make such noise
That I'd hurt my tongue

I could run a mile
Or jump over a hill
I could swim the whole Nile
And keep a bull still

I get so giddy
And want to tell the world
Even though I know
That you are not my woman

I'll spit out some stupid jokes
Like the one I made above
And if it makes you smile
I'll eat the head of a dove

I could be your boring brownie
Or tech support at home
If it stops your frowning
I would dress up as a gnome

I just want to see you laugh
And help wipe your tears
I want to share time with you
Even if it's less than years

Is it a crime
To feel the way I do?
In such a short time
I'm enamored by you

I wait for no one,
But I'll be around
I just think you're special;
I don't want to lie, now

About
Hi. Most of my work is poetry, but I intend to put some stories out in the future. I write about what makes me feel strongly. This approach mostly results in romantic pieces, but I hope to branch o.. more..
