I SupposeA Poem by ErinEmotional Rants on Destiny. You Can't Run from the One.I'm cold; ego. here. worn to a thread. My feet are closer to the groud with each step. I am closer to realization with each step. I cease to step. A bright light, A sudden clearing: You never wanted me, did you?
20/20. Humiliation is Forever.
Throwing myself at you, Wasn't the best idea, I suppose. Maybe I should disappear-- Hiatus; Sick Leave; Just Leave.
But is it so wrong, So terribly wrong, That I still want you? What will become of my affections? Doesn't exist, I suppose.
But! Always. We go in circles, And find ourselves again. I find myself, Again. Again in this situation, Twelve, Sixteen, Twenty..... Age doesn't matter. Me, Oh, so persistent.
Fine! If you don't want me, SAY IT. I dare you. I f*****g dare you. But you won't say it. Because you can't say what isn't true. I suppose.
I suppose--
I suppose we're through. 'Til next time. © 2008 ErinReviews
