Collision

Collision

A Poem by Erin
"

I'm pretty sure this was the first thing I ever finished and liked (at the time). So enjoy my first work I guess.

"

2 souls collide w/ a heavenly bell,

one is a mirror,

and the other as well,

circling now and endlessly,

where to go now,

somebody sa-a-ave me!

save me!

hold me!

love me!

endlessly!

(chorus---->)

i mean right now,

i mean right now,

i mean right, right now!

(end chorus)

now step left,

and now step right,

now step off and get out of my life!

a splash

the sinking

nows the time for drinking

and erasing our memories as well.

two steps forward, one step back

is still a single step

but four steps back and then a slip lands me in hot water

and it lands him in the cold

take it!

take it!

take it,

back now!

chorusx2

a shimmer a shakin'

i see you fakin'

seeing you glance over right now

Well, im just a child

and you're so wild,

but then again,

so-am-i.

Take it off

and put it on

you shed your skin so fast

strike like a cobra

rattle like a snake

you entice me so bad.

well, my skins a-flush

and i feel a rush

of in-tox-i-cation.

so pop the bottle

take a gulp

and pass it to another,

'cuz youre busy with me

(higher--->)

and i cant see

(end high note)

how you can do both

cuz i need attention,

i need love,

so i cry out,

somebody sa-a-ave me!

save me! (you have)

Hold me! (you are)

Love me! (you do)

Endlessly

chorusx1

Save,Hold,Love me

NOW

I think this is wonderful, a most well written song write.

Everyone speaks of the Mind's Eye, but there is also the mind's ear. I hear this as a an industrial rock song, much in the style of Nine Inch Nails, or perhaps even Marilyn Manson. I hope you hadn't meant for this to be a country song, or anything of that ilk. I happen to hold Nine Inch Nails in high esteem, so I mean my review as a compliment. Very well done, Erin.
