This is Love

This is Love

A Poem by Erin

We loved each other...didn't we?

Flaming words, letters

Flaring as nostrils

Alcohol shooting through my welcome veins

Blue Ice Smirnoff

Shiver Scream Scry

The Future

Bubbles Rising,

I Fall Pillows

There to catch me.

But! What!?
Hidden Needles

And a bubble breaks

A word from my mouth.
spiraling jumping

over the railing,
but oh so pushed.

Contract Contort

Just let me die already.
Please Please be here.
I need you.
Hold my heels and

pull me back

Silver Whispers

Eyelash magic

Golden words breath life.
Where are you?!?

This is tough to read just because of the pain that seeps through with every word.

over the railing,
but oh so pushed.
Contract Contort
just let me die already.

I know these lines from personal experience. Thank you .

I liked this, but I really think the "gone" at the end is unnecessary as the poem sort of gets that across, so summing it up at the end doesn't seem fitting.

That's just my opinion though, it's a good piece.
