I always knew that this would happen

It was only a matter of time

 

I can remember when I was everything

I can remember when you said

"I'm nothing without you"

Yet every day I lost you a little more

until the day came

I'm not longer your everything

 

You said that you promised

that no matter what

nothing could take you away from me

So where are you now

I don't see you now

I don't see you anywhere

 

I did what I could

I tried and I tried

I helped you with everything I could

and it doesn't mean a thing to you

 

"I'm nothing without you."

"I'm everything without you."

"I need you in my life."

"I don't need you--- at all."

 

You lied and said

"I was everything."
