When did this world go wrong

When did this world go wrong

A Poem by Frankie Nguyen

Where did this world go wrong

When little boys think it’s okay to disrespect their mothers

Where did this world go wrong

When little girls are having sex before they understand the consequence

Where did this world go wrong

When there’s more people starving on the streets

Where did this world go wrong

When our youth are put away for murder

Where did this world go wrong

When our youth don’t know how to respect one another

Where did this world go wrong

When a woman can hit a man and it be seen as okay

How long are people of this world going to think we live forever

Thinking we get another chance, another try, another life

When will we realize this is our only chance to get it right

When will we realize that when we die we’re all alike

I'll tell you when it went wrong, when man first stood upright and started thinking. T
