Patience

it's suppose to be a virtue

feels more like a burden

Keeping quiet

trying not to ask questions

just waiting

and hoping for a miracle 

it's agony

Your mind screams

your heart aches

and you don't know

whether to try

or just give up

So you remain patient

hoping for the best

but preparing for the worst
