I Need A Friend

I Need A Friend

A Poem by I Don't Care If You're Contagious

I just want to meet someone
who will love me
Never leave
Or at least
Show me myself
Because I need help
I need a friend
I need someone to understand
No one listens
But I can't ask my mom or dad
Dad hits her
We ran away
No where close to his place
We are struggling in life
She is working 2 jobs
And I have no friends
No one in this world is real
so do not believe
one day you will forever sleep
so stay awake while you can
open your eyes
because before you know it
we will all die.

I really like this poem, it has a dark feel about it and hold a lot of truth. But know this, you're never alone. Friends tend to be found in the strangest of places. You just have to look. Nice write.

Well, you speak your emotions very well in this poem.
But I am here for you anytime. I would love to be friends :)
I will listen anytime, anyday.
Great job!

You will always have a friend in me. Don't you forget it. This poem is full of sad moments and bits but I see hope in the depths, for you will find friends. Excellent write.
