Misunderstandings Lead to Her

Misunderstandings Lead to Her

A Poem by I Don't Care If You're Contagious

Was it destined for me to be be called a fake
But it turned into a very good thing
Her name seems so nice
Maybe I could be her mister right.

Crap was started and she went away
Maybe she will return and be with me
In love with the same band, we are
My main man Vic might bring us to talk to each other
maybe I can show her the life of another.

Even if her heart is broken
I will be the one to fix it with soft words spoken
Maybe something great will come from past mistakes
maybe this is the reason I am here today.

The fact that you like pierce the veil so much really reminds me of my friend Taylor Bigelow. I think you two actually have a lot in common from what i've read of your work so far. This write was set up in a nice orderly fashion. The way your words were worded added to the soft, light mood at the end of the poem. Nice write.

The last stanza was absolutely my favorite! So sweet and caring and deep when you reflect upon the thought "Maybe something great will come from past mistakes
maybe this is the reason I am here today."

Very good. I like how you not only told a story, but you told a story for the future. Excellent!
