I hear the light whisper

But from her attitude I already know it isn't her.

But she keeps trying

Keeps crying.

Just stop all of these games

I am not the type who likes to play.

Why are you being so attention seeking

Why do you keep bleeding.

I'm not worth it innocent girl

Stop acting like I am your complete world.

Left alone in a cold dark town

I am the type who stays around.

I do not want to break your heart

But i am not the one who wanted it from the start.

Please understand 

I am but a simple man.

This was a good write. I understand that men don't like to break girls hearts, but sometimes girls just don't know how to let go. I'm a girl and I know how to let something go! So I don't think you actually did anything wrong and boys can also be heartbroken not just girls. Thanks for sharing. :)

It's nice to be reminded that not every guy you meet is dead set on tearing your heart to pieces. This is a nice, honest poem, full of good intensions. Excellent write. I loved it.

I've been through this with so many people and can probably understand most of it and what it feels like. The fact that you put those thoughts into words so well is pretty cool. The last line, I think, makes this poem. It adds a touch of simplicity (hardy har), and gives the writer the understanding that you really do wish the person would be easier to deal with. Nice write.
