I thank God

For bringing me sun in the day

For the light of the moon in the night

For the stars in the absence of moonlight

 

I thank God

For the flowers I smell

For the song of the river I hear

For the air I breathe

 

I thank God

For giving me strength to labor

For giving me bed to rest

For giving me faith to pursue

 

Above all

 

I thank God

For I have my Little Angel

For without his breath

I am lifeless even He

Abundantly endows me

With wonderful gifts.
