Our northern lights.A Poem by i.am.the.sun.Just a little scribble.
I’d like a kiss
Just a kiss Not just the meeting of lips and lips The same lips we use to sit and sip From the drinks we grip. But a kiss, A true kiss Where lips... They’re secondary. They say we don’t need to see the northern lights For them to happen But it helps renew our faith that they’re still there. And so I’d like a kiss like that. Where our eyes meet Our hearts beat And we both know that it’s still there. Know that we both still care. So when our sipping lips have supped enough And when our sitting hips have sat enough We’ll walk and talk, Share words and stares. We’ll smile, smirk, and reminisce About our own aurora borealis. © 2011 i.am.the.sun.Featured Review
