Sport.

Sport.

A Poem by i.am.the.sun.

if they build a big curtain up around the world so you couldnt see...
if you couldnt hear what was going on and
no one spread a word that shed some light...
would you complain then,
living life the same all but for that curtain?

if one day the curtain came down and noise erupted
and you saw the wars going on that were hidden by the velvet,
would you complain then,
having to see the horrors that must happen for you to have the freedom,
the freedom to choose which god you bow to,
to which coffee you drink?

if you then looked around and saw not the war,
but instead the bleachers, the stands, the vendors,
and crowds upon crowds upon countries...
all sitting in the plastic seats of the new global arena...
looking not in on itself, but out into the world.
would you complain then?
when you look around and realize
that we are the players in the wars
and spectators who fund them,
will you complain?

Very inspiring, the message is clear and I like that you have compared world politics to sport. One mistake I spotted, first line curtain not curtein. Other than that, brilliant!
