Everyday choices.

Everyday choices.

A Poem by i.am.the.sun.
"

Just a little note.

"
I am surrounded by my future,
an impossible labyrinth of left turns and lullabies,
a muddled myriad of mulligans and mouthed goodbyes,
a dizzying disarray of damnedable determinisms,
and I choose my path through them.

Every possible end,
every single saturated Saturday,
fevered with the filaments and flotsam
of backless barefoot bioluminescence,
and I follow your ghost through them.

We choose our realities every day,
and every day I choose the one that I believe will lead to you.

Author's Note

i.am.the.sun.
I'll be damned if I don't think this is nifty and cute. And true.
It's a little pathetic how some days the thing that helps me get through the day the most is thinking that eventually, hopefully, I won't be going home to an empty house.
