Every dirt road..

Every dirt road..

A Poem by i.am.the.sun.

when i see the wind blow through your hair,
i imagine it must sound like the wind rustling trees.
so i walk in the woods.

when i hear your voice reverberate off walls
i imagine it must look like ripples.
so i swim in the lake.

when i catch your perfume
i imagine it must taste as free and pure.
so i drink from the river.

when i touch your skin
i imagine moonlight
and i look up to the sky.

no matter where i go
i'm going to you
as every dirt road seems to lead to your church.

This gave me goospebumps. BEAUTIFUL. And that last line, "as every dirt road seems to lead to your church.", is great, implying that she is worship worthy.
I really, really liked this.
Finding yourself drawn to aspects of nature because they remind you of her--what a wonderful sentiment.
