The way it goes

The way it goes

A Poem by Hanhil
"

Life as I see it.

"
Its kind of sad to see time pass us by
Its kind of sad where priorities lie
But thats the way the world goes round
And thats the way our lives are bound.

Its kind of fustrating to let your dreams go
Its kind of fustrating 'cause its all a big show.
And what we do is deny our dreams,
What we do is follow another's whim.

Its kind of terrifying to see whats new
Its kind of terrifying to see faith so few
And what we do to fit in
Even though it might be one big sin

Its kind of sad to be thinking of all these...
Its kind of sad 'cause theres still a lot to list
But we're still here, learning to cope
And we still live on, clinging to hope.

I rent the same worries to this very day. I didn't get over them or find the answers. I found out what you hinted at in the second line. I just didn't have THAT be the priority.... priorities itself!! : ) A very revealing poem about the "cliche' "growing pains we are all designed to suffer equally it seems. The end of the poem was like slowly closing a book, and sighing, knowing you have reached the end. You understand, fell in love with the characters, but the end tells us to move on...... until next time!! Beautiful Hanhil. xoxo -Mark

I really enjoyed reading your perspectives.. you name the things that affect us most in our everyday lives, that have their consequences whether or not we see them now, time and dreams they are the urgent two... a meaningful piece of contemplation.
