EpiphanyA Poem by hypochondrita...
There is something very magical
About a moment of epiphany The sudden visualization Of every puzzle piece... Simply clicking. The big picture shows its face Oh, what an ethereal sight! Nurturing an illusion That claims you stepped out of oblivion And maybe finally comprehended A small bit of the reality that surrounds you And shapes the person you are Into forms not even geometry can understand But the truth is Every step foward Comes with a breeze That blows you two steps back The universe is a tricky thing, dear It doesn't want to be understood All because there's no fun in answers They're never as good As our imagination wants them to be The chase to put an end to a question Now that's what truly moves mankind Interest lies in mystery Not knowing where the odds will take you next. People like to think they're rational beings Though too distracted to notice They're the biggest predators out there Always driven by the hunt... The hunt for meaning.
