Quiet Morning PonderA Poem by wynnSomewhere in a forest, A brick house listens carefully To a quiet morning ponder
Fragrances of dark coffee, Steam wafts through the crisp air A pleasure veiled in uncertainty
Examining a tainted friendship, A union of unstable differences, The regret in an embrace;
Hands grasp heavy porcelain Foam whirls in an aging black, Giving way to a reflection
A somber face in bleak attire, Reminiscing on the past, As a wavering shadow. © 2013 wynnReviews
