Dandelions in the WindA Poem by wynnThe cycles of the Earth. With parchment, ink, and feather quill I inscribe by fireside; Power emanating from my pen, Torrential thoughts flow
Violent whirlwinds rule the skies A thunderous crashing from above; Lightning flashes through cold clouds Illuminating the dark valley
Earthquakes tremble beneath, Dividing the ground Shaping caverns, shattering stones, Mountains reach the heavens
Flames rise, flickering in the mist, Molten ashes flow in plumes of smoke; Magma scorches damp soil, Stealing leaves from trees
Soon, green grass replaces barren land The moon becomes the sun The sky feigns a gentle breeze; Dandelions in the wind. © 2013 Brianna Carlson © 2013 wynnAuthor's Note
