Somewhere in the Caribbean Sea

“Boss!” A rough voice exclaimed, “I got something urgent!! " " What is it, Highsmith?” Adamska asked. One of the men on a mission for the client, IEE, and it was not what we expected, boss.” Highsmith said, “What did they find?” Adamska asks, “They found nukes.” Highsmith stutters out. “What!?” Adamska shouts out “Put me through to them.”

Adamska puts up the long-range radio and says “This is the Boss, Send traffic.” “Boss, this is DD-01, over, we found some nuclear warheads and they’re Soviet.” One of the soldiers said, “Soviet Nukes!?” In Shcok, Adamska says to Highsmith, “Did the client say anything about nukes?”, Highsmith in a blunder says “No, I’ll try and contact the client.” Adamska turns to the men on the radio, “Men, hold on, we’ll try and contact the client.”

“B-boss, I can’t make contact with the client, it was as if they never existed” Highsmith stuttered out. “Men, bring back the warheads, we will secure them at mother base.” Adamska ordered over the radio, the soldier confirmed the order.

Highsmith questions Adamska, “Why bring back the warheads to mother base?” “ It’s simple, we can’t risk the nukes falling into the wrong hands and it’s a high-profile job too, we can’t let the media know that there were nukes involved.” Adamska says to Highsmith, “Come! Let’s meet the warheads at the landing zone when it comes back, we need to decide what to do with it’” Adamska asks of Highsmith.

The helicopter lands on the landing pad, the doors on both sides slide open. The men falls in and salutes Adamska, “Boss!!” The soldiers cries out, “Men, keep the knowledge of these nukes under wraps, not a single one of you should reveal the secret of the nuke to anyone even on base, understood?” Adamska commands “Now men, move these nukes to room 333, I’ll have Dr Miller inspect them later tomorrow.”

“Dr Miller, what do you make of it?” Adamska questions, Dr Miller inspects the warhead, he sighs, “They are warheads alright, a thermonuclear warhead, where did you even get this?” “On a job, client turns out to be a shell company, can’t risk it, we have a lot more at room 333” Adamska says, “What do we do with them?” Highsmith interjects.

“Not one word of this leaves this room, you both understand? Especially you, Dr Miller” Adamska orders. Suddenly a soldier bust opens the door and runs towards the three of them, “Boss!! The media caught wind of this!! Two media outlets want to do stories on us.” “You’re dismissed.” Adamska relieves the soldier “How could the story of the nukes possibly get out?”

Highsmith suggests a theory that it could be a set up by the CIA as it was in the newspaper that the Americans had come into possession of soviet nukes in 1962 and maybe the nukes in the PMC’s possession are the same nukes from 1962, Adamska realises it was a set up by the CIA, punches the wall. A phone rings in the Doctor’s office and Dr Miller answers.

“Damnit! We’ve been set up!” Adamska curses, “Boss!!” Dr Miller calls out, “The IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) wants to do an inspection of Mother Base.” Adamska thinks for a while and replies, “Send them an official letter of refusal, say that we are a private organisation and they can’t inspect based on baseless rumours.”

Dr Miller thinks for a while and says, “Boss, if you weaponised the warheads, we could have an advantage against other PMCs.” Adamska and Highsmith both looked at Dr Miller and one of them says. “And bring the whole world down upon us? Listen here Doctor, you’re not here to replicate your success at Los Almos, you’ve seen what happened to Dr Oppenheimer. You want to have a vote for your “clearance”?” Dr Miller gives up the idea “Remember, not one word out of this room and Dr Miller, no funny ideas and that’ll be all.” Adamska says.

“Boss, we found Dr Miller attempting to testfire one of the warheads, we caught him in time, his recent activities were suspicious such as ordering in film badges, he didn’t keep his activities under wraps it seems.” Highsmith reports to Adamska.

Highsmith follows Adamska to visit Dr. Miller, who is in room 101. They reach the room to speak to the doctor. “Hello doctor, been busy?” Adamska greets the blindfolded doctor. “Boss!! Listen to me, please!! The test firing was supposed to help everyone!! I’ve agreed to the nuclear inspection by IAEA already!!” The blindfolded doctor says, “You did what!?” Adamska questions.

“Listen to me boss, if the IAEA inspects us without finding the nukes, we could get them to exonerate us of any suspicion, we should do it!!” The doctor pleaded, “Fine! Why did you attempt to test-fire the nuclear? Where were you aiming?” Highsmith answers

“It was just a test fire, I was planning to fire it 5 miles west of us I swear,” The doctor claims. Adamska and Highsmith talk in the corner for a while before coming back to the doctor, “Alright doctor, consider your head off the chopping board for now but YOU are in charge of overseeing the inspection, you shall be responsible for decontamination and preparation for the inspection.’ Adamska orders of the doctor.

Adamska is in his office, smoking a cigarette, thinking to himself “Today is the day of the inspection, I hope all of this blows over soon.” Suddenly, an explosion can be heard and shakes the strut legs of the base then over the radio in Russian can be heard “Adamska, you have something of ours and we want it back” “блядь” Adamska whispered to himself. Adamska quickly grabs his rifle and joins his men in the fight

During the fight, Highsmith joins in and asks where Dr Miller was and suddenly he can be seen on a helicopter with the Soviet soldiers and the nukes taking off from the helipad, the Soivet soldiers slowly retreat and eventually, board their helicopters and fly away

After the chaos, Highsmith asks Adamska, “Do you think that Dr Miller was taken against his will?” “I don’t think so, maybe he was spying for the Soviets along. Maybe he was the spy at Los Almos, who knows.” Adamska says. Suddenly a pop from a distance can be heard and a loud boom nearby.
