South Bound

A Poem by kingsley
"

A short poem written about time spent in a late night art class in college.

"
Black coffee,
small amounts of white sugar.
Floyd and his Wall,
Breakin' on through to that other side.
Dark charcoal smudges,
inky messes,
tires eyes.
Red tail lights fading to nothing,
leaving me alone on empty
interstate blacktop.
