This poetry was published in my college magazine during our first college day fest.:)

 

Hame Kya Pata Tha...

 

 

 

 

 

Hame kya pata tha, hame aap mil jaoge...

Hame kya pata tha, hum aap ko chahne lagenge...

Saalon intezaar kiya hain, saalon intezar karenge...

Ek din aapko apna banakar rahenge...

 

Sapne dekhte hain hum aapke,

din mein aur raat mein...

chahte hain itna aapko,

base ho har saas mein...

 

Kuch bhi karein hum,

kami tumhari mehsoos karte hain sanam...

khud se bhi zyada...

tumhein yaad karte hain hum.

 

Zindagi ke har mod par,

tumhein dhoondte the hum...

ab aake mile ho,

baantlo meri khushiyan aur gham.

 

Saalon intezaar kiya hain...

saalon intezar karenge...

kisi din aapko apna banakar rahenge.

I know many of you cannot understand this.
I am planning for a translated version for you all.:)
This was the first one in Hindi/Urdu.

tumhein dhoondte the hum...
ab aake mile ho,
baantlo meri khushiyan aur gham.....aah...aur kya chahiye!
ik zindgi ka sath.....jo her khushi mein her gham mein.....her kadam pe sath de......aur kya chaiye...

esp. these lines got me......simply Amazing.

This line really made my eyes wet, There's just too much pain in them...
Though I loved the entire piece, but for me this line out stands!

I mean, woh kehte hai na....ki agar kisi ko asal me kabhi pyar kiya hai, toh usse jaane do....agar woh wapis aye, tohe woh tumhare pyar tha....agar nahi, toh samajh jana ki woh tumhara kabhi tha he nahi...


This poem is simply beautiful, I'm not too good in hindi but after reading this poem, I will surely try writing something in hindi too :)

made me think of those famous lines from a movie "itni shiddat se maine tumhe paane ki koshish ki hai...ki har zarrey ne mujhe tumse milaane ki saazish ki hai"


"kisi cheez ko pure dil se chaho...to puri quayenaat use tumse milaane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai"
