In the darkness of night

This is the first time that I am writing my poetry about something other than my feelings and reality. This is completely new to me, yet its here coz it just flowed onto paper.

 

In the Darkness of night

 

 

In the darkness of night,

the moon does arise,

with thousands of secrets untold.

Silent whispers and warm breaths,

they sigh against each other.

She doesn’t want the night to end,

‘coz the morning would bring a different bend.

Tired and sated they rest,

against each other they fall asleep.

When the morning sun shone upon her,

she knew that it was all over.

He’s gone and she is alone…

But she smiles for she knew his secret.

She knew she’d meet him again,

and again…

in her deepest dreams,

every night.

Beautiful and tender, such a sweet moving piece of love found deep within... the world of dreams... the world of wishes... the world that comes to life when we close our eyes in darkness... Wonderful.
