Spurned

Spurned

A Poem by huntnteen

The emotions I hide,
Take me down a dark, twisted slide,
Changing the way i feel,
Making me question if its real.
The glare of the sun,
Burns with jealousy for i never won,
Consuming me in a way,
I'd never thought I'd pay.
With the slip of a knife,
I can end this tragedy of life,
but i wont because you care,
just enough to know i wont be there.
So with this knowledge i try,
to leave without your cry.
