Miss You

Miss You

A Poem by zaneybear

I feel so alone,
since you left me for her.
You used and abused,
the heart of too many
treated like some toy to be thrown away.
A bone to the good dog,
scraps thrown to the wolves.
I started to fall for you,
now I'm just hurt.
I didn't know you were leaving,
I wish I would have said goodbye.
I could have hugged and kissed you,
at least one more time.

I'll never get another chance,
like the one I had tonight.
I need to stop with my own pity,
and she'd some light.
So I can see what really is going on,
the fun I've been missing outside.
You helped me out of my shell,
but managed to break it with your words.
Now we're walking our separate paths,
and I'm still attached to you.
