Why I Do It?

I don't want to die,
I don't do it for attention,
I do it to cope.
With all these high expectations,
and a high sense of false hope.
Looked down upon everywhere I go,
I guess you could say I'd like it all to go away.
Maybe death is the answer,
but it's also my form of shelter.
I hide behind death,
threatening it everyday.
What loved ones I have left,
have no words to say.
I Don't know why I continue to do it wrong?
Well by the time you're reading this,
I pray to god I'm long gone.

This perfectly describes the pressure and failure that people feel, also highlights the misunderstanding that some take on people who cut. Thinking its for attention, when usually that is so far from the truth. I hope you are happy today my friend, take care :D
