It’s hard to laugh with you not around, you were my crutch who brought me down, that crutch is broken and gone by now. I believe you owe me a brand new heart, when you left you took mine. Returned it with one too many scars, not a single band aid will ever do. All the tape won’t fix the wear and tear. I’m like poison ivy to you, 3 green leaves poisonous to all, poisonous to those who touch. The leaves make a comfy bed in case I fall. Comfy and springy like your heart used to be. I loved you so much and look where that’s got me, not knowing the who’s or why’s, not even the how. Why: you left that I know Who you’d left for, no one knows, you have so many of the girls you play, can you even remember their names? A queen, of course will be your next card but how did you come up with that play? All I’ve ever wanted to know: How you left me here all on my own? you took me out of your world, for your girlfriend who controls your life, if she knew the truth what would she say? Would she leave your sorry self behind? Or do you think she would stay? What I would love most of all, is to escape from this rare reality, but I know all too well it’s my own insanity.
I was first drawn to read this because of the title.
I can tell you poured a lot of real emotions into this piece, and that makes it a gazzillion times better, in my opinion. I always love reading words that pack a lot of meaning.
And I can honestly say I related to this very well. It's extremely difficult to let go of everything, even if the other person seems to be moved on just fine.
This was a lovely read, and I hope you're doing really well now. :)

This one comes together nicely at the end. It's a very identifiable write too since most everyone can identify with being hurt this way. Nice word usage too.
