My Goodbyes

My Goodbyes

A Poem by Bella

Red is the only color I see
Don't try to take the blade away from me
Happiness is a lock that has no key
Maybe tonight I'll finally be set free

Scars cover my wrist
A bottle of pills in my fist
I don't cry because I know I won't be missed
Numbness is spreading over me like a thick mist

I don't put up a fight
Everything will be alright
In the darkness I see a light
I'll be gone before the end of the night

Now I finally close my eyes
I'm done living a life of lies
Everything lives and everything dies
This is my ending
And these are my goodbyes

Be strong!
I got shivers reading this. This was fierce.
"Red is the only color I see
Don't try to take the blade away from me "
Ya know, this is a really emotional piece for me. I cried reading it. Only truly powerful pieces can do that.
I wish you luck in your recovery.
