Form and FunctionA Poem by SteveDoes it rhyme I ask myself with consternation Repeated vocalization looking for sounds replication Rules of engagement result in thoughts castration Furrowed brow that resembles my brain's permutation Frozen solid in stare yet losing hydration Bend words articulation into proper form allocation Unstructured ideas and emotions onto paper migration But the more that I type the less the agitation As fingers move with greater adapt coordination Thoughts move from suffocation to fear of past contradiction And words dislocation by my rhymes duplication As I approach the end in self condemnation I hit post with reservation and trepid anticipation. © 2015 SteveFeatured Review
