I Think I Can Run NowA Poem by kollaboratyveThis was written to, and for, a very godly person who is earmarked for greatness . She took me to the next level, an angel in the flesh, among mortals. Thank you!!I think I can run this race begun ! You took my spirit and bid me come from a place of stagnation my joys' reborn. Unable to move, weighted by the rays of the sun this burden a grave unformed. Your voice I heard, you bid me come. Swept forward by the wind; a key in your hands, swaying this ole tree by your command. My purpose unchained, I wonder the cost, of a mind set free from this unconscious frost. I think I can run this race begun! Crippled by shattered hopes of bitter memories, stifle will, chokers of darkness, unable to dream, stranded by silence, unable to believe. You planted your seed of hope in the soil of my soul, a fruit sprained forth ripened unfold. From the corridors of heaven God gazed his will in a chosen earthen vessel an angel given. I think I can run this race begun! I think I can run this race begun ! Old things dissolved a new day begins, just beyond the horizon a new day is born. How shall I run amid new sight given, to turn broken and miserable Now, forward until hopes new light I think I can run this race begun! © 2014 kollaboratyveAuthor's Note
