A Slow Dance With The World

A Slow Dance With The World

A Poem by CJ

As the colors start to fade

As the trees cast a shade

I fear for myself

My world is crumbling

Right before my eyes

Everything turns to black and white

I can finally see

So clearly

That every human

You and me

Is enslaved by something

Waiting

But never set free

The truth flows clearly

Like a universal symphony

In and out the light fades

The orchestra cascades

Into a sea of angelical faces

The children of our world

Sent forth to destroy the races

We the people have built these cases

Against any who oppose

But how can they deal with it

When the danger is rotting under our own nose
