If It Really Didn't Matter

If It Really Didn't Matter

A Poem by child of God

It's the worst feeling in the world
To love and hate someone all at the same time
And its hard to watch things change
Before your eyes when all you
Want is for things to stay the same
It's crazy when trying to let go but
You keep holding on and you
Want to move on
But you are stuck right
Were you started
When feelings come and go
And you can't decide what you want
When you have so many things to say
But you don't know where to start
When you want them in your life so bad
But all you can do is push them farther and farther away
It's so hard thinking back to how things use to be
And look at now and realise that things are
Different and they may never be the same again
You tell yourself its not worth it
But if it really didn't matter
You wouldn't spend so
Much time thinking
About it

Its just practice... relationships get better as you get older. It's like riding a bike... you have to fall down a few times before you can race down hill or weave in and out of traffic. The more you try the better you get at it. Then things get really interesting.

I can very much relate to this in regards to my ex. I feel like anyone who has ever dealt with betrayal can identify.
