Dear cuting

Dear cuting

A Poem by child of God
"

A letter to my worsted enemy

"
Dear cutting,
I don't need you anymore,
all you did was get me in
trouble, you are
not cool, you didn't
help, all you did was cover
up the pain. Yes, in the
past I thought
you were my only
friend but I
was wrong,
you are nothing
now, just
a part of my
past. Bye.

Sincerely,
Broken girl

You're a strong girl, I know how hard it can be sometimes. All you have to keep thinking is if you cut, you're letting whoever/whatever is causing the pain win, and also, you're making life in the long run a lot harder for yourself as you're creating permanent memories of the pain you went through.
Keep it up honey, should be proud!

I can sadly relate to this a lot and I am proud of you for writing a poem so strongly and open as this, it's nice to know I'm not alone with how I felt when I stopped. Thankyou, this is amazing, please keep writing!

I like the personal strength that this piece resonates with. Being able to overcome and keep walking is a healing path. It's good that you are able to set sail away from that stage in life.
