Words

What if words are magical, and that whatever you say can directly influence our physical existence:

Saying "Part" will move the oceans,

Saying "Burn" will engulf something in flames,

Saying "Fly" will have you swimming in the clouds,

and saying "Dig" will make the earth obey?

What if words are alive, and that whatever you say can alter a condition:

Saying "Heal" will mend broken wounds,

Saying "Kill" will take a life,

Saying "Grow" will make a plant flourish,

and saying "Purge" will uproot it?

What if words are powerful, and that whatever we say can immediately make or break a person:

Saying "Hope" will uplift a desperate Will,

Saying "A*****e" will degrade it more,

Saying "You Will..." can alter a Destiny,

and saying "You'll Never..." will doom a Fate?

What if words are more than just words, and that whatever you say can tip the scales of balance

between Light and Darkness,

between All and Nothing,

between Order and Chaos...

Will you still use them?
