WonderA Poem by Litheos Ennius TarucMost of the people I know are always on-line, always in the rush. Is there a time when they stop and just stare on the night sky?
The sky is my solace, the night my refuge
Especially now that time seems to flash by, Too fleeting to be grasped by the moment. Sometimes I wonder if people stop for a while And look up to the skies Instead of rushing from one thing to another. I hope they realize that the Present has always been by their side, Patiently waiting for them, assuring them that things are well For the Past is only filled with regrets And the future is yet to unfold. While I may never truly understand why people are always like leaves: Carried aimlessly by the breeze, helplessly being controlled by its empty carresses I shall remain glancing at the skies: Wondering. Whispering. Waiting.
