~*~ LUNCH ~*~

A Poem by Taylor

~*~  LUNCH  ~*~

Sitting down on the bench he

Held his blankets on his lap

Pulled out a salad

Reaching his hand inside the container

He shoveled the contents

Pieces falling around him

Into his mouth as if he

Hadnt eaten for days

After ravaging the salad

Like a rabid  animal

He moved on to a bag of chips

With food in his stomach

The man, dressing from his salad still

Splattered on his face and beared

Fell asleep in the warm spring sun.
